So, that is our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) - as touted by Jim Collins. We want to become one of the biggest player (specifically, developer) in property market. And that tells our intention of getting listed... soon.
When a company wants to get listed. They are indeed, needing capital. And capital needed to grow at tremendous pace. A pace can only be possible through IPO. (Google wont be google now if they were not listed in their early days)
But, bank wants to know, is your business viable enough to go IPO? What is the reason behind the IPO? You guys are event management and investment consultancy company, why would you need that much money? Believe me, this question was racing in my when i was acknowledged that the company wanted to go IPO someday soon. I went to discuss with my banking and economic friends to get their view.
Do we have what it takes to be there? Within 3 years, we are known as one of the biggest property event producer in the country with the best quality of content delivered from year to year. We achieved what others had tried (for more than 10 years) to achieve. We have tremendous and most credible resources that seems impossible for 3 year old young company to achieve. Are we in the right direction? Yes.
Am i on the right seat? Yes.
